Zum 30 jährigen Jubiläum der Critical Mass wird am ersten Oktober-Wochenende die Xyclona mit frischem Herbstwind durch Bern rollen. Wir laden euch ein, am 30. September sowie am 1. und 2. Oktober als kritisches Einzelteil mit der Masse mitzufahren.
Mit der Xyclona reihen wir uns ein in die Grossanlässe der weltweiten Critical Mass-Bewegung: Nach der Ciemmona und der Criticona findet in Bern die erste Xyclona statt.
Die erste Critical Mass fand im September 1992 in San Francisco statt. Schnell verbreitete sich das Konzept der kritischen Masse weltweit: Von Boston über Bangalore, nach Bergen und Brisbane und schliesslich auch in die Schweiz nach Bern.
Und so wollen wir zum Jubiläum dieses scheinbar spontanen, ja auch magischen Zusammentreffens eine riesige, internationale, intergalaktische Critical Mass enstehen lassen.
Wir treffen uns einmal pro Tag zur grossen Ausfahrt:
- Freitag 30/9/2022 18:45 Helvetiaplatz, Bern
- Samstag 1/10/2022 16:00 Rosengarten, Bern
- Sonntag 2/10/2022 11:00 Europaplatz, Bern
Also packt eure Rucksäcke, schwingt euch auf die Sattel, zieht die Inlines an oder nehmt sonst euer liebstes nicht-motorisiertes Fortbewegungsmittel hervor und kommt alle am 30.9., 1.10. und 2.10. nach Bern. Wir werden euch sowie eure Freund*innen, Verwandte, Bekannte, Haustiere, Katzen, Hunde und natürlich Fahrräder mit offenen Armen erwarten.
Es wird Essen, Musik, Konzerte, Spiele, Workshops, Schlafmöglichkeiten und sonstige Aktivitäten geben. Wir warten auf dich, und wenn dir beim Warten auf die Xyclona langweilig werden sollte, kannst du Folgendes machen:
- Verbinde die Menschen (oder sonstige Wesen) deiner Stadt, der Schweiz, ganz Europas, der Welt und des ganzen Universums, damit niemensch dieses magische Event in Bern verpassen kann.

- Hilf uns mit deiner Kreativität und komm an die Sitzungen, damit deine Ideen von allen gehört werden.

The Xyclona follows the worldwide critical mass movement with its large organized events:
After the Ciemmona and the Criticona the Xyclona will land in Bern.
The first Critical Mass took place 1992 in San Francisco. Since then, the movement has spread around the world like a mycelium, the mushrooms of which are sprouting up in more and more cities. From Boston to Bangalore, following Bergen and Brisbane and finally arriving at Bern in Switzerland, where the Critical Mass movement is experiencing a remarkable upswing.
And now we want to celebrate this magical event, where bicycles and other non-motorized modes of transportation have been meeting each other every month for 30 years. We invite everyone of you to the international, interplanetary and intergalactic Critical Mass in Bern, the Xyclona.
We will meet everyday for the critical bike ride:

- Saturday 1/10/2022 – 16:00 Rosengarten, Bern
- Sunday 2/10/2022 – 11:00 Europaplatz, Bern
So bring your friends and family, dogs and cats, and of course your bicycle.
We will all be waiting for you from 30 September to 2 October with open and welcoming arms and hearts.
There will be concerts, parties, food, games, places to sleep and be, and of course bike rides.

- Connect as many people (or other beings) as you can from your community, city, country, continent, planet or the whole universe to come to Bern so that they wont miss this special event.

Nel primo weekend d’ottobre, tra il 30 settembre e il 1 e 2 ottobre, si terrà la Xyclona a Berna. Vi invitiamo a venire con noi e a respirare l‘aria autunnale bernese.
Dopo la Ciemmona e la Criticona la Xyclona segue il movimento globale della Critical Mass con i suoi grandi eventi internazionali.
Per la prima volta nel settembre 1992, la gente ha circolato per le strade di San Francisco con il motto Critical Mass. Da allora il movimento si è diffuso in tutto il mondo come un micelio, i cui funghi stanno spuntando in sempre più città. In Svizzera, in particolare, il movimento Critical Mass sta vivendo una notevole ripresa.
E allora con la Xyclona vorremmo mostrarvi progetti che si occupano della storia e della filosofia di Critical Mass e celebrare questo 30 ° anniversario insieme a voi!

- Metti in rete tutte le realtà del tuo paese, d’Europa e della galassia che credono in una mobilità nella quale la bicicletta o i pattini, gli skate, ecc. sono protagonisti e strumenti quotidiani.

Le Xyclona fera parti du mouvement mondial des masses critiques avec de grands évênements. Après le Ciemmona et le Criticona, le Xyclona atterira à Berne. La première masse critique eu lieu en 1992 à San Francisco. Depuis lors le mouvement s’est répandu à travers le monde comme un mycelium, le champignon qui surgit dans plus en plus de villes.
Depuis Boston jusqu’à Bangalore, suivit par Bergen et Brisbane et enfin Berne en Suisse, où le mouvement des masses critiques connait un remarquable essort. Et maintenant nous voulons célébrer cet évênement magique, où les vélos et les modes doux de transport se sont rencontrés tous les mois depuis 30 ans.
